AI Integration

AI connected to the systems your work depends on.

Your team should not have to copy the business into a chat window. Connect AI to the records, documents, and tools it needs to help. Keep the systems that work, define the access, and start with one useful connection.

Where to start

Give AI the context to be useful. Start with the question or task your team cannot complete without moving between systems, then connect only what that workflow needs.

The answer needs your actual data.

A general answer is easy to get. The useful one depends on the customer record, latest order, or document that the assistant cannot reach.

Copy and paste became the integration.

Someone exports the report, uploads the file, and explains the context again. By the next question, the information has already changed.

The connector stops short.

Your custom system, permissions, or approval rules do not fit the standard setup. The last step still comes back to your team.

Where it makes a difference

Connect the context. Move the work forward.

Start with the missing connection. These examples help define what AI needs to read, what it may change, and how your team will check the result.

Customer context, without the search.

When it helps

Sales and support keep switching between the CRM, inbox, and order system to answer one question.

Examples
  • Account summaries
  • order questions
  • follow-up preparation
A first workflowIllustrative
  1. 01Find the customer
  2. 02Read the right records
  3. 03Review the response

Read the permitted customer records, assemble the relevant context, and prepare a response for review.

What to measure

Lookup time, source accuracy, and corrections needed before the answer is used.

What the build covers

The connections behind useful AI.

The interface is one part of the work. We scope the access, data flow, and failure handling around the integration.

  1. Purpose
    The right records
    Works with
Your CRM, ERP, helpdesk, or custom application
    First scope
Check supported APIs, permissions, limits, and the records needed for one workflow.
    As it grows
Add systems after confirming the first connection behaves reliably.
  2. Purpose
    Access with an owner
    Works with
Your account owners and existing roles
    First scope
Agree whose identity the integration uses and what it can read or change.
    As it grows
Review access as teams, responsibilities, and connected systems change.
  3. Purpose
    Information worth using
    Works with
Documents, knowledge sources, and live records
    First scope
Define which sources answer the question and how freshness and references are shown.
    As it grows
Add sources with their own ownership, access, and retention rules.
  4. Purpose
    Control of the next step
    Works with
Your business rules and workflow owners
    First scope
Separate read access from write access and require review for consequential changes.
    As it grows
Broaden permitted actions only after evidence and an explicit decision.
  5. Purpose
    Exceptions your team can see
    Works with
Run history, alerts, and review queues
    First scope
Handle expired access, missing records, and failed writes without silently losing work.
    As it grows
Add monitoring and recovery checks as volume and dependencies grow.
  6. Purpose
    The right connection method
    Works with
Supported APIs, webhooks, and compatible MCP tools
    First scope
Choose the connection method around the task and the systems involved.
    As it grows
Document the interface so future tools can use the same integration.
From first workflow to daily use

One connection. A working workflow.

  1. 01

    Define the missing connection

Choose one task, its owner, and the records needed. Agree the result that would make it useful.

  2. 02

    Check access and data

Confirm APIs, permissions, record quality, and account ownership before committing to the integration.

  3. 03

    Build a reviewable release

Connect the first source and review working software weekly. Begin with access that matches the task.

  4. 04

    Test the awkward cases

Try missing records, expired access, conflicting information, and failed writes. Check the recovery path.

  5. 05

    Put it into daily use

Train the users, agree approvals, and monitor the integration with a named owner for exceptions.

  6. 06

    Extend from what works

Measure useful outcomes and support effort. Add the next system when the first connection is dependable.

Plan the investment

One model. Sized to your speed.

A senior engineering team on a monthly basis, sized to how fast you want to move. Any tier can work through the same roadmap. A smaller team takes more months; a larger team moves more of it forward at once.

Small team

$7k
a month · steady progress
Timeline

An agreed first release, then weekly progress

Best for

Work through the roadmap in priority order at a steady monthly budget.

Included
  • An agreed first release and a prioritized roadmap
  • Weekly working-software reviews
  • Integrations and workflow-specific evaluations
  • Team training and a controlled rollout
  • Hosting, monitoring, backups, and security updates while we work together
  • Code owned by you from the first commit

Growing

$13k

Timeline

An agreed first release, then weekly progress

Best for

Add capacity to move the build, integrations, and rollout forward together.

Included
  • An agreed first release and a prioritized roadmap
  • Weekly working-software reviews
  • Integrations and workflow-specific evaluations
  • Team training and a controlled rollout
  • Hosting, monitoring, backups, and security updates while we work together
  • Code owned by you from the first commit

Scale

$18k+

Timeline

An agreed first release, then weekly progress

Best for

Bring more capacity to a tighter timeline or several connected workstreams.

Included
  • An agreed first release and a prioritized roadmap
  • Weekly working-software reviews
  • Integrations and workflow-specific evaluations
  • Team training and a controlled rollout
  • Hosting, monitoring, backups, and security updates while we work together
  • Code owned by you from the first commit

Three-month minimum, thirty days' notice. You own the code from the first commit. Model usage and third-party tool fees are separate. We estimate these against the workflow and agree budgets before rollout.

Ownership & ongoing operation

A system you can keep building on.

Your code and your AI workflows

You own the repository, prompts, and workflow-specific tests we build for you. We document how the system works so another team can maintain it.

Clear control of the accounts

Agree who owns each model, cloud, and integration account. Keep usage, credentials, and access responsibilities visible to your business.

Support after the rollout

Hosting, monitoring, backups, and security updates are included while we work together. Agree who reviews exceptions and how support continues after handover.

Data access with clear boundaries

Define what the system can read and change, what it logs, and how long records are kept. Review provider terms and specialist requirements before using sensitive information.

Questions & Answers

Clear answers
for complex builds.

Clear answers on timelines, pricing, ownership, and what shipping actually looks like with a senior engineering team.

  • It gives an AI workflow a supported way to read information or request actions in another system. A useful first example is answering an order question from permitted customer and order records, with the sources available for checking.

  • We first check its APIs, export options, authentication, and data quality. An existing connector may fit; a custom interface may be needed. If the available access cannot support the workflow reliably, we explain that before committing to a build.

  • No. We choose between supported APIs, webhooks, existing connectors, and MCP-compatible tools around the actual workflow. The decision depends on the systems involved, access requirements, and how the integration will be maintained.

  • Only within the permissions and approval rules you agree. Reading a record and changing it are separate decisions. We can start with proposed updates for human review and test duplicate prevention and recovery before enabling writes.

  • Engineering retainers start at $7k per month, with $13k and $18k+ options for more delivery capacity. The tier sets the pace through an agreed roadmap. There is a three-month minimum and thirty days’ notice. Model usage and third-party service fees are separate.

  • We target a useful first workflow in 3–4 weeks once scope, access, and data are ready. We review working software each week. The time to wider rollout depends on integrations, testing, and the people who will use it.

  • You own the custom code, prompts, and workflow-specific tests we create for you. Your accounts and access responsibilities are agreed up front. Third-party platforms and open-source frameworks retain their own licenses.
